PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

This application is designed to assist users in learning the Arabic alphabet. The initial page of the application features a table of letters, each accompanied by its corresponding name. By selecting a letter, users can hear its pronunciation and access a pop-up window containing a description of the letter. The description includes the separate, initial, middle, and final spellings of the letter, as well as details on its pronunciation and alphabetical order. When clicking on a letter, its name is pronounced.

The application also includes a test to assess and reinforce the user's knowledge of the letters. If needed, users can click on the "Prompt" button for assistance during the test.

The menu provides an alphabet table for easy navigation.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USING THE PROGRAM:

Working with the program involves two stages:

1. Familiarization with the letters
Read the introduction in the menu to gain a general understanding of the Arabic alphabet. Next, proceed to learn about each letter individually. Listen to its name, observe its various spellings within words (try to identify common elements in each spelling), read about the pronunciation rules associated with that letter, and make an effort to remember it. Repeat listening to its name multiple times.
2. Learning and reinforcing the letters
After familiarizing yourself with all the letters, click on the "Test" button and attempt to complete it in its entirety. If you forget a letter, don't worry—simply click on the "Prompt" button to view and hear the correct answer. Repeat this process until you complete the entire test. If necessary, you can retake the test multiple times to reinforce your understanding of the letters.
